Yaron Zoller

Yaron Zoller, assistant professor of business and management, this week received the John F. Mee Award for Best paper in the Management History (MH) division at the 79th Annual meeting of the Academy of Management in Boston, Mass. The award was for a paper co-authored with Jeffrey Muldoon from Emporia State University titled "Mayo's Beacon: How Hawthorne, Logical Positivism, and Psychology Shaped Social Exchange Theory." Zoller presented a second paper at the conference titled "Coming Together After a Tragedy - How the S.S. Eastland Disaster of 1915 Helped Shape Hawthorne" and he chaired a paper discussion session for the Managerial and Organizational Cognition (MOC) division of the academy.
