Lakeland College received a $2,000 AT&T Innovation Award on thursday to support the college’s innovative “Lunch & Learn” program for students.

Offered twice a month, the program helps students with academics, career preparation, peer mentoring and leadership development. The series is part of Lakeland College’s overall Student Success & Engagement initiative.

“Our mission at Lakeland College is to provide our students with everything they need to be successful in their chosen career fields and to graduate prepared to lead ethical, purposeful and fulfilling lives,” said Eric Blacknall, dean of students and associate vice president for student success and engagement at Lakeland College. “We are excited to receive this AT&T donation to support our efforts through our Lunch & Learn program.”
