Features & Perspectives
You’re invited to join us for a memorable weekend at Lakeland University!

The fun starts tonight (Friday) for students, with Muskie Mayhem beginning at 5 p.m. in front of the Campus Center. It includes a bags tournament, sand volleyball, bonfire and much more! Students should check around campus for posters about what’s happening, or ask your RA or success coach.

Saturday, our football team will play the first Lakeland game ever on the newly turfed Taylor Field, hosting Carroll University. A ribbon cutting is set for 5:45 p.m., followed by kickoff at 6. Food trucks will be here for dinner, and students can swipe to get a ticket to use at the trucks.

The 1967 championship football team will be on campus this weekend to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and we’ll be honoring them at halftime of Saturday’s football game.

Sunday at noon, our women’s soccer team will make its debut on the new Taylor Field.

Also Sunday, from 10 a.m.-noon, two sessions will be held for Lakeland students at Creart on Michigan, a Sheboygan-based art studio that lets people design their own artwork. There is a maximum of 15 students per session, and you must sign up in the Student Success office in the basement of WA Krueger Hall.

Lakeland’s shuttle will be taking students to the beach between 1-7 p.m. on Sunday, and on Monday, the shuttle will take students to the Sheboygan County Fair. Shuttle rides can be scheduled through the campus security office.
